Sunderland AFC are heading to Spain in July 2024!

As part of the Club’s preparations for the 2024-25 season, the Lads will travel to the port city of Alicante where they are to play two pre-season fixtures.

At Sportsbreaks.com, we have partnered with the Club to offer supporters a range of exclusive packages to make this the can’t miss trip of the summer.

Your experience includes:

• A 3-5 night stay in one of our handpicked hotels - all four stars or higher - in Benidorm or Alicante

• A match ticket for both fixtures

Your Itinerary

In a nutshell…

An exact itinerary will follow closer to the event date, but here's an idea of how your pre-season break will look:

Before your break:

The lead passenger will receive an email around 7 days before the break. This will include when you'll receive your match tickets, information about the meet & greet and open training session, as well as all the important information we need you to know before the match and your hotel stay.

When you arrive:

Check in at our hotels is usually around 3pm, but don’t worry if you’re there before, the hotel will store your luggage, so you can head straight out. If you’re unsure about your specific check in times, drop us an email or give us a call – it’s no problem.

At the match:

Coach transfers will be in place ready to take you to the match.

Grab your tickets and remember, you’ll have received an email around 1 week before the game, so you’ll know all timings well in advance.

Home time/Final Day:

Sadly, it’s time to head home. You’ll need to check out by mid-day (again, be aware that some hotels may have a slightly earlier or later check out time) but if you’re planning on enjoying more time in Alicante/Benidorm, the hotel will store your bags for you.

When are the fixtures and who against?

Opponents and dates are TBC, but the club are working towards the fixtures being over the weekend of the trip dates.

How can I book flights?

Who is eligible to book this break?

This is available to SAFC supporters worldwide and bookings can be made in multiple currencies via the Sportsbtreaks.com website.

Match Tickets:

Match tickets location will be communicated closer to the fixture date.

Although it’s very unlikely you’ll be separated from others on the same booking, we can’t guarantee that all of your seats at the match will be sat next to each other. However, if there’s any children (under 18’s) on your booking, we guarantee they’ll be sat next to an adult in your group.

Have a read of the ‘important info’ on the last screen before you finish your booking to get more details on everything you need to know, including a bit more information on 'fixture changes'.

The lead person on the application needs to be 18 or over, and we’ll need a postal address, phone number and email address for them, as well as payment details.

We’ll take a 50% deposit when you book and the final balance on 25th April 2024.

Bookings made after 27th April will be charged in full.
