In a nutshell...
Here's how your weekend will look:
Friday
It works just like any holiday flight! Grab your passport and be at the airport at least 2 hours before scheduled departure. Then…...sit back, relax and enjoy the short flight.
Once you’ve reached the other side and passed customs & immigration at Barcelona airport, your Sportsbreaks reps will be there to point you in the direction of your hotel transfer. Check in is usually around 3pm, but don’t worry if you’re there before, the hotel will store your bags, so you can head straight out!
You’ll find a sportsbreaks.com notice board in your hotel reception. This will display all important information and transfer times for the weekend. Your Sportsbreaks reps will also be around if you have any questions.
Saturday
If you’ve added a qualifying race ticket and return coach journey to your package we'll be there, at the time stated on the notice board, to transfer you to the circuit.
Remember to pack all your essentials for the day ahead and expect a bag search before you get in to the circuit.
Another important point to remember is that the circuit is alcohol free. You can get a beer outside the circuit, but you cannot take it in with you.
The coach will remain at the circuit all day. Your rep will remind you of your return time. Aim to be back at your coach 10 minutes before departure.
If you’re not heading to the track today, the day is yours to enjoy!
Sunday
It’s race day!! Good news…we’re all heading to the track today!
Grab some breakfast and double check your coach transfer time.
You'll see your Sportsbreaks reps in reception; they'll tick your name off the coach manifest and then you'll be on your way.
Post-race, you will make your way back to the coach to head back to your hotel and to enjoy your final night in Barcelona.
Your rep will remind you what time you need to be back at the coach. Aim to be back at your coach 10 minutes before departure.
Monday
After a great weekend, sadly, it’s time to head home. You’ll need to check out by mid-day (some hotels may have slightly earlier or later check out time) but if you’re on a later flight, the hotel will store your luggage, so you can enjoy your last day in Barcelona.
Keep an eye on the noticeboard in your hotel for pick up times. When it’s time to leave for your flight, the coach will pick you up from your hotel and your onboard rep will let you know which check in desks you’ll need to head to when you reach the airport.
