The 2023 Six Nations saw them extend their record-breaking run to 14 consecutive victories at their home ground, with wins over France and England. The team seems to feed off the passion of the supporters, making it a formidable place for the opposition, and an exhilarating place to watch Rugby.
The City of Dublin
A huge part of the International Rugby experience in Ireland is the city of Dublin itself. It really has something for everyone, so it doesn’t matter if you are travelling with friends, colleagues, family or maybe members of your Rugby club. To give you a small flavour of what’s on offer:
The Guinness Storehouse
An obvious place to start – you can’t talk about Dublin without mentioning Guinness. The Storehouse is well worth a visit, if just for the incredible rooftop bar with stunning views of the city. The beer isn’t bad either!
Temple Bar
The most famous neighbourhood in Dublin – packed full of bars and restaurants. You need to make it over there at some point in your visit to Dublin, and you won’t want to leave. The best location for a few drinks with a lively atmosphere guaranteed. Oh, and just a stones throw away from the Guinness Storehouse!
Kilmainham Gaol
This former prison is a great place to go if you want to get a fascinating insight into the modern history of Ireland. The guided tour is brilliant, you’ll learn about everything from the Easter Rising to the filming of the movie Paddington 2!
St Stephens Green
If you need a change of pace, St Stephens Green is a beautiful park to spend some time walking around, or just sitting down and relaxing. Immortalised by James Joyce’s ‘Ulysses’, it’s the perfect spot for a moment’s peace, before you head back onto the streets.

Looking for somewhere to eat? FIRE is consistently ranked as one of the top restaurants in Dublin – even voted the best steakhouse in the world in 2022. Incredible food in a beautiful Victorian building – the perfect place to kick off your night.
Perhaps the best thing to do in Dublin, though, is just wander around for a bit – take in some sights, and end up in a cosy pub that you never knew existed, with a roaring fire and a friendly welcome.
